Oriental Rug Services

Oriental rugs are our specialty. In addition to buying and selling old and antique handmade oriental rugs, we advise clients on cleaning, repair and condition. With our extensive network of rug dealers, experts and collectors throughout the Bay Area, we can help you find the perfect rug for your home or business at a price that is often substantially below retail.

In-Home Sales

From set-up to clean-up, we organize, appraise, advertise and sell an estate’s contents with efficiency, honesty and sensitivity.

  1. • Free in-home consultation.

  2. • Flexible to allow for each sale’s special circumstances.

  3. • Evaluation, preparation, pricing and display of items.

  4. • Research and appraisal of valuables, such as jewelry, silver, books, fine art, antiques, collectibles and other items.

  5. • Advertising via print, Internet and email to our extensive list of buyers.

  6. • Prominent signage to direct and attract buyers.

  7. • Delivery or arrangement for pick-up of large items available.

  8. • Timely accounting and payment.

  9. • When we’re done, home is in orderly, broom-clean condition.




Consignments

For certain items, we may offer to take them on consignment. In these cases, we’ll work diligently to sell them in other venues or place them with one of our extensive network of retailers, dealers or collectors.

Buyouts

In the case of an outright purchase, we’ll buy your items—whether a full or partial estate, or a single item--providing you with same-day payment and prompt removal.

Appraisals

We’re happy to provide valuations for your oriental rugs. For appraisals of jewelry, furniture or other valued items, we can refer you to one of the certified appraisers in our network who specializes in the items you need appraising.
